Radnor and Strath Haven are the lone Delaware County schools in the latest statewide Top 10 public high school rankings, but four more joined them in the Top 50.
Based on academics, diversity, teachers, college prep, clubs and activities, and health and safety as determined by U.S. Department of Education data and Niche analysis, Radnor was No. 4 in the state and also claimed No. 100 nationally in the Niche 2018 Best Public High Schools rankings.
Strath Haven ranked 10th in Pennsylvania.
Other high-performing schools in the area included No. 28 Haverford, No. 31 Garnet Valley, No. 39 Penncrest, and No. 40 Marple Newtown, all of which earned A+ grades from the school and neighborhood review website. The Niche rankings covered a total of 656 high schools across the state.
