The Boys & Girls Club of Chester will host a benefit concert featuring The Point Blank Band and Avery Sunshine on Thursday, March 30 at 7 PM at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino.
The mission of the Boys & Girls Club, the only one in Delaware County, is to nurture the development of young people and guide them along the path to future success by providing an environment that supports excellence in education, good character and citizenship, and a healthy lifestyle.
For 87 years, the Boys & Girls Club of Chester has provided quality, out-of-school programming for the youth of Chester and beyond. Its programs include tutoring, gardening and nutrition, sports, mentoring, summer camp, and more.
Avery Sunshine is one of the most dynamic voices on the creative music scene. The earthy and charming singer has a gravitational pull that is destined to resonate with the masses. Originally from Chester, Avery Sunshine returns to share her voice and raise awareness for the Boy & Girls Club of Chester.
The concert begins at 7 PM, with the opportunity to meet the featured artists, learn more about the Boys & Girls Club of Chester, and support future leaders.
