The increase in house prices is a direct result of high demand and low inventory. This is especially true for the Greater Philadelphia area, which seems to be in the middle of a buying frenzy. Villanova’s 19085 is top in the state with a median sale price of $1,046,925. This also makes it one of the most exclusive areas nationwide. The famously affluent area is popular with celebrities like Will Smith.
Also among Pennsylvania’s Top 5 is Haverford’s 19041, which ranks fourth at $585,000. Wayne’s 19087 ranked 15th at $455,000, while Chadds Ford’s 19317 came in 17th with $454,000. Glen Mills’ 19342 rounded out the Delco contingent at No. 22 with $426,000.
